Acceptable use policy
Diallo is an AI receptionist: it answers the calls customers make to a business. This policy sets out how it may be used. It forms part of our Terms of service and applies to every business that uses Diallo and to everyone who sets up its agents.
Last updated: 14 October 2026
1. Inbound calls only
An agent answers calls made to the business, by phone or in the browser. Through Diallo it is not possible to:
- place outgoing calls, run call campaigns or make automated calls (robocalls);
- send SMS or bulk messages by messenger or email; notifications about new requests go only to the business itself;
- call from anyone else’s number or change the number a call appears to come from.
2. Prohibited use
You may not use Diallo, or set up an agent:
- for fraud, deception, phishing, financial pyramids or any other unlawful activity;
- to impersonate a real person, another business or a public authority, or to mislead callers about who they are talking to;
- to threaten, harass, insult or discriminate against anyone;
- to spread unlawful content, or content that infringes someone else’s rights;
- to collect data that the business has no lawful basis to collect;
- for services that are illegal in Georgia or require a licence the business does not have.
3. AI disclosure and call recording
- At the start of the call the agent says on whose behalf it is answering, that it is an AI assistant and that the call is recorded. When we set up an agent, we put these notices in its greeting; if you change the greeting, keep them.
- When a caller asks whether they are talking to a person, the agent answers truthfully that it is an AI. Presenting the agent as a human is prohibited.
- If a caller asks for a person, the agent offers another way to reach the business: a phone number, a callback request or a message.
What callers are told is described in our AI and call recording notice.
4. Voices
Agents speak with synthetic voices. A voice that imitates a real, identifiable person may be used only with that person’s documented consent, and only for the business they agreed to. We may ask for the consent before enabling such a voice and turn it off if it cannot be shown.
5. Payments and sensitive data
- The agent never takes payments and is not set up to ask for card numbers, CVV codes, PINs, passwords, SMS codes or other credentials.
- Special categories of data — for example health data — may be asked about only if the business has a lawful basis for it and its callers are informed. A clinic’s agent may record the reason for a visit; it does not give medical advice.
- If someone asks you for such data on behalf of Diallo, it is not us: please report it (section 9).
6. Emergencies and high-risk use
Diallo is not an emergency service. Do not use an agent where a mistake could put life, health or safety at risk, or as the only way to reach help. An agent that may receive urgent calls — for example at a clinic — should tell callers to call 112 in an emergency.
7. The integrity of the service
- do not test the security of Diallo without our written permission, try to access other customers’ data or bypass limits;
- do not overload the service, for example with automated calls to your own agent or to the demo;
- do not copy, resell or sublicense the service or use it to build a competing product.
8. Monitoring and enforcement
We onboard every business ourselves as part of the paid setup, so we know who uses each agent and for what. We do not routinely listen to calls, but we monitor usage (number of calls, minutes, unusual spikes) and may review an agent’s settings, recordings and transcripts to investigate a complaint or suspected abuse.
If we find a breach of this policy, we may suspend the agent or the whole workspace immediately, without prior notice, and, where the law requires it, report it to the competent authorities. For less serious breaches we will first ask you to fix the problem.
9. Report abuse
If you believe a Diallo agent is being used for fraud, deception or in any other way this policy forbids, write to envmotion@gmail.com. Give the phone number or website, the date and time of the call and what happened. We look into every report and reply.
